Mr. Akash Deep Singh

Akash is an alumnus of NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad and earned his B.A. LLB. (Hons) in 2009. He has been recognised and mentioned as a specialist in indirect taxation laws in Legal 500 in the year 2018.

Akash has a unique blend of experience in advisory and litigations in relation to Direct and Indirect taxation laws and GST Laws across various sectors like solar and wind energy, manufacturing, mining, education, hospitality, tobacco industry, FMCG, IT and IT services, telecommunication, entertainment and media, advertisement etc.

He regularly appears before revenue authorities, CESTAT and High Courts and provide advisory and representation services along with litigation support, statutory compliances and tax structuring with a focus on indirect taxes including but not limited to Customs, GST, Foreign Trade Development and Regulation laws.

He has authored several articles and published papers in various legal publications and online portals like Excise Law Times, Service Tax Review and, Taxman publications www.taxindiaonline.com etc.

Prior to joining Neo Legal Partners, Akash worked with HSA Advocates, DSK Legal and PLA Advocates during which he was retained by HSA Advocates as Principal Associate from April 2018. He was previously engaged with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India Pvt. Ltd. and PWC during the period of 2009 to 2016.
